Afin de mieux connaître et de faire connaître l'histoire de luttes anarchistes menées ici même à Montréal, l'Union communiste libertaire (UCL) vous invite à parcourir ensemble un trajet animé qui commémorera quelques évènements et endroits qui ont pour nous une signification importante, qui font de nous aujourd'hui des révolutionnaires!
Des premiers 1e mai, les anciens librairies, l'université ouvrière, les émeutes de la conscription au passage d'Emma Goldman à Montréal, nous allons marcher ensemble dans un esprit festif dans le quartier des Faubourgs et ses alentours. Sortez vos plus beaux habits noirs et chapeaux!
**En cas de pluie, l'évènement sera remis au lendemain, même heure et même lieu.
Un service de garde sera offert pour les enfants.
Cet évènement se passe dans le cadre du Festival de l'anarchie à Montréal!

Anarchist History Walking Tour of Montreal

In the spirit of discovering and exposing local anarchist struggles in Montreal from the past, the Union Communiste Libertaire (UCL) invites you to take part in a guided walking tour which will commemorate some of the important places and events of significance for anarchist movements in our city. It is these places and events which are a part of our tradition, and have led us to be revolutionaries today!
From the first Mayday demonstrations, the old bookshops, the Workers' University, the conscription riots to Emma Goldman's visit to Montreal, we will take you on a festive walking tour of the Faubourg neighorhood and the areas around it. Bring your nicest black clothes and hats!
**In case of rain, the event will be postponed until the day after (May 23), same time and place.
There will be childcare offered for those who need it.
This event is part of the Festival of Anarchy in Montreal!
